Kurotani #56 Suji-iri is handmade in the oldest continuous papermaking village in Japan, where they have been making paper for over 800 years. 100% Japanese kozo fibre with the inclusion of chiri (kozo bark bits) and turquoise blue fibre, this washi has a pleasing "organic" look. It is also strong and absorbent, making it suitable for all printmaking techniques.
