Kurotani #88 is made from 100% Japanese kozo fibre and dyed with kakishibu (fermented green persimmon juice) for natural sizing, insect repellant, and extra strength. The sheets are hand-formed on a kaya su (reed screen) resulting in distinctive, extra fine laid lines.
