Nashio Maniai is a heavily clay-infused gampi paper, made by a human treasure craftsman in Hyogo prefecture. Its unique texture and tone come from clay specifically collected from the area, providing insect-repellent and fireproof qualities that makes this washi perfect for fusuma and byobu screens, or to back gold leaf when beating. Excellent for dry media such as pen, graphite and pastel drawing. Can be used for wet media with backing. Heritage Washi.
